Who are we?
At H3D, we strongly believe in the power of sustainable development, and our mission is to make it a reality for Hârșova and the surrounding communes. We provide a range of essential programs, designed to support the education and inclusion of children, youth and adults. We are catalysts for change: we offer practical solutions to reduce the impact of poverty and illiteracy. Moreover, we fight for an open, barrier-free society, where discrimination, xenophobia, separatism and prejudice have no place. Our commitment is to ensure an environment in which all citizens can thrive.
Vision
We envision Hârșova in 2034 as a cohesive and vibrant community, with a clear path of development based on sustainable tourism and public services dedicated to the needs of its citizens, where relationships are nurtured by respect and shared values. In Hârșova in 2034, all children have access to quality education, and everyone’s traditions are woven into everyday life, celebrated in community events that have become local customs.
We see H3D as the main partner of the local administration in providing community services, promoting and implementing a multicultural strategy. Youth centers are the heart of the community in the area.
By combining local and international volunteering, we have found balance and understanding between the needs and aspirations of young people in the community. H3D centers are a second home, a safe and healthy environment, an anchor in everyday life.
In 2034, H3D and the community have the infrastructure necessary to organize events with and for young people in Romania and Europe. H3D hosts one of the main national interethnic events for young people, with over 250 participants. H3D is recognized nationally and Europeanly as a model of good practice in social interventions in multi-ethnic communities.
