The Cultural Map Project “Inclusive Hârșova”. Theatre, Education and Play aimed to facilitate access to education and culture among children and young people in Hârșova. The main objective was to reduce the marginalization of the most vulnerable among them, embrace ethnic and cultural identity and strengthen social ties in a more inclusive community.
The project team was guided by the lenses of inclusivity, intersectionality and participatory approach. Thus, the following activities were carried out:

• a forum theatre camp;
• a research on cultural mental maps;
• organization of non-formal education workshops.

The results of these activities reached the general public in the community and even beyond it through: theatre performances, video materials and exhibitions of cultural maps.
In this way, the project facilitated mutual knowledge and acceptance through the participatory creation and enrichment of the “Inclusive Hârșova” cultural map.

The Hârșova COOLturală project was implemented over a period of six months, with the main objective of increasing the degree of acceptance and social inclusion in the community of Hârșova and the surrounding areas. The team aimed to promote intercultural dialogue and combat discrimination, addressing in particular children and young people, including those from the Roma community and other minorities.

An essential component consisted of the development and arrangement of a Youth Center that became a friendly and stimulating space for socializing and learning.

During the project, over 300 children and young people benefited from non-formal educational activities and intercultural experiences. The efforts culminated in the organization of the Hârșova COOLturală Festival, a three-day event dedicated to interculturality, which actively involved young people and the local community
